01.31.08: Hey, just thought I'd check in real quick
...so yes I'm glad that Idol is back because I love my Simon, I agree with what he says 90% of the time, it's called being honest. He's even nicer about it this year. But have you noticed that Ryan Seacrest looks like an old skool Sleestack? He is Ryan Sleestack? See exhibits 1-3 below...feel free to respond back: alexa@movin997.com.

01.08.08: Need Something To Watch?
Soooo you're sad because the writers are on strike and you need something to watch. Let me make a few suggestions:
1. This week new Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy, Yay! How I've missed them.
2. Biggest Loser Couples. Keep watching, it will inspire you to put down that donut.
3. I usually stay true to OG CSI, but CSI:NY has new a new episode this week, I will give them another try.
4. I love Las Vegas. Even though Fergie has stolen lead "Danny's"(Josh Duhamel's) heart. I can still drool. Oh yeah and the storyline is good too!
5. Let me know if I should watch any of these " October Road"- I liked it last season. "Brothers & Sisters"- lost my place a few episodes ago. CSI-Miami- I like it way better than NY, but how is the season overall? Will you be "Lost" this year, or just over them being lost and the never-ending storyline? Let me know the answer to these burning questions: alexa@movin997.com.

11.07.2007: Anniversary So 6 years ago this weekend, I walked down the aisle in an antique white dress in Portland, OR. THIS weekend was spent with my hubby (aka Dan the Man). He is so sweet. On the sly he planned a romantic day. Which included a hefty steak dinner and a hotel room overlooking the bay. No matter what's going on in your life never forget to celebrate those milestones. He was so cute , he even had roses the same color as my wedding bouquet delivered to the restaurant waiting to give me a smile so big words can't describe it. A little thought is the biggest surprise, men take notes from mine! I've included a photo of the original joyous occasion so you could appreciate it for yourself. :)

09.25.2007: TV TIME!
Well now that Autumn has reared it's ugly head it's time to tune-in to the next chapter in the saga of so many of your favorites....so I never tuned-in to "Heroes" but then "the hubby" bought season 1 on DVD and it has been like eye crack ever since! Now I found another show I like for the geeky it's "Journeyman" that follows Heroes Monday night at 10pm. And it actually takes place in The City. The lead character looks like Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) from "The Dead Zone"(not as cute!!) lol and the story line resembles "Quantum Leap" with Scott Bakala without the cheesy 80's effects. So now that we have seen what Sunday and Monday has to offer (Damn that "Cold Case" for making me cry again) ...what show are you most anticipating this season? If you are a MOViN' VIP please take my poll. You will earn 500 points if you do!! Now that I've seen "Heroes" the one that I have to see and won't answer the phone for anyone for is "CSI" will Sara die? This storyline is compelling enough for me to DVR "Grey's Anatomy". I will be watching Grissom first and foremost this season, still mad at the networks for putting these two head-to-head. Good news is looks like life in Seattle will be sunnier with a more positive storyline this season...I just hope that Christina's eyebrows grow back!!

09.24.2007: VACATION!!!
So I’ve been off your radio dial for a few days taking a few days off for vacation. It gave me time to see my in-laws and old friends in Portland, OR where there is clean air and there are green trees EVERYWHERE! Now that I’ve hit my reset button it’s time for some big city livin’ again. I did find out that I LOVE PF Changs crab puffs, lemon scallops, and moo shoo pork! YUM-YUM-YUM!! Although I flew there, the hubby prefers to drive to get the whole experience. We negotiated the ride home and it actually wasn’t too painful driving home on Saturday although it was rainy. I have to HIGHLY recommend to anyone who has never been to Ashland, OR to go there. Lots of fun little shops (yes I went to the comic book store-GEEK!). And we love going to the Shakespearean festival so we are already making plans to see plays in February or May of 2008. While I was in one of the stores, I saw the actor who played Issac from “The Love Boat” the ironic thing is I had just suggested to J-Love that he should be Issac from the “Boat” for Halloween, he was not amused! (But I was and in the end that’s all that counts) ;)
